At Brisbane Common Ground, Homelessness has a Solution

At Brisbane Common Ground (BCG) we provide permanent, supportive housing to people who are chronically homeless, and affordable housing to people on low incomes.  

BCG is a 14-storey apartment building situated in the arts precinct of South Brisbane.

Our impressive foyer provides access to 146 units of affordable accommodation in stylish studio and one-bedroom apartments. Thirty-three of our studio units have been designed to accommodate wheelchair access for people with impaired mobility. Onsite facilities include 24/7 concierge service, a tenant computer room, art studio, rooftop garden, communal lounge, a library room, and billiards room.

24/7 Concierge Service

We offer tenants a free 24/7 concierge service to assist in their transition to our housing. This is available to all tenants of BCG.

Computer Room

Our onsite facilities include a computer room to assist tenants who do not own a personal device to have access to important online services.

Rooftop Garden

Our on-site rooftop community garden brings a tranquil feeling to our tenants and their families & friends. It is a breath of fresh air!

Communal Spaces

Our onsite facilities include a communal lounge, art room, library, and billiards room. Relax and enjoy the fun!

Free Wifi for Tenants

We offer tenants free access to the building Wi-Fi service subject to them agreeing to the terms and conditions of use.

Looking for Housing?

We provide rental accommodation to people who have experienced/are experiencing chronic homelessness through our supportive housing program, and to people who are priced out of the rental market due to having low to very low incomes through our affordable housing program.

Common Ground Queensland accepts the invitation of the Uluru Statement from the Heart and supports a First Nations Voice to Parliament enshrined in the Australian Constitution.

We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Owners and Custodians of the land on which we work. We recognise sovereignty was never ceded.
