Supportive Housing For Families

Common Ground Queensland’s Supportive Housing for Families program is keeping families together, while helping to end childhood homelessness and child services interventions.

SH4F Program

As part of this program, Common Ground Queensland headleases homes from the private rental market across Brisbane and rents these homes as social housing to the families in the program. While Common Ground Queensland pays the full market rent amount, the families are only charged a third of their income in rent.

The families are supported by a specialised family support program delivered by Micah Projects, whom we partner with to provide supportive housing for this program.

This program has supported over 100 people in supportive housing, including 60 children, and more than 30 families over the length of the program so far.

If you are interested in this program and believe yourself eligible, please contact Micah Projects Keeping Families Together (KFT) team.
