Brisbane Common Ground (BCG) is a 14 storey apartment building situated in the arts precinct of South Brisbane.  Our impressive foyer provides access to 146 units of affordable accommodation in stylish studio and one bedroom apartments. 33 of our studio units have been designed to accommodate wheelchair access or people with impaired mobility. Onsite facilities include 24/7 concierge service, a tenant computer room, art studio, rooftop garden, communal lounge and billiards room.  We also offer tenants free access to the building Wi-Fi service subject to them agreeing to the terms and conditions of use.

We provide rental accommodation to people who have experienced chronic homelessness (supportive housing) and to people who require access to affordable housing located in South Brisbane.  Tenants must meet eligibility requirements set out by the Department of Housing.  Information on eligibility and how to apply can be found on our Vacancies and How to Apply pages.

Social responsibility, respect for others and appropriate community behaviour are fundamental requirements of a successful community at Brisbane Common Ground. To ensure all tenants have the right to the quiet enjoyment of their own home we have developed a Good Neighbour Charter.  The Charter outlines ways to act as a responsible neighbour in a high density environment, including management of noise, privacy and social connections. All tenants at Brisbane Common Ground are required to sign up to the charter as part of their tenancy agreement.
